history of the guitar!! OMG!!

I'll start doing guitar lessons with my friend Rapha! and I was curious and wanted to know the history of the viola, an instrument it is so common but no one ever told me anything!and decided to research and talk to you!!

The guitar is a typical instrument of Brazilian music. But it was not created in the country. It is speculated that its origin is the eastern region, brought to the Iberian Peninsula by the Arabs. Another theory is that it is from Greece or Rome, descended from Greek Lira. Whatever the origin Esua over the centuries of guitar prercussores instruments were gradually transformed, being widely used in Spain and Portugal. The nomenclature of the Spanish guitar is the guitar, as well as English (guitar). Therefore, to avoid confusion of names in different countries is often called the Spanish guitar Guitar (Spanish guitar), distinguishing it from the Electric Guitar. The name is specifically used guitar in Brazil and Portugal, the latter being also called Viola.
